This resource is a good tool after some reflection is needed. Use this as a learning tool- reflect on what happened and how decisions were handled. 

Bonus tip: Come up with an even better solution for next time! Guide the converation, but let them come up with the idea!

Forward Thinking: How Do You Control Yourself?

This resource can be used at any time. After the dust has settled from a big emotion event, discuss what they can do to control themsevles for the future!

Bonus Tip: Talk about a lot of ways to calm down. Extra points if you let them practice! Have them write down a few of their favorites.

This resource is great if writing is easy and fun for your kiddo! Sometimes, the best way to get our thoughts out is by writing them down. 

Bonus Tip: Tell them to go talk to their Inner Coach. Give them a pen, paper, and some space to write down their thoughts!

Reminder: My Inner Coach Helps Me 

This resource is a great way to talk about that inner, positive, voice. 

Bonus Tip: Talk about helpful thoughts versus unhelpful thoughts. Teach them to listen to their helpful Inner Coach!
